No More Subscriptions After April 20th
TUESDAY NIGHT, I WILL BE TURNING OFF THE ABILITY TO ACCEPT ORDERS OR SUBSCRIPTIONS. If you’re interested in any membership, poster order, or DVD, your order must be submitted by TUESDAY NIGHT!
Yes, I hope to fix the problem, but it will most likely be late summer. Join now, or lose out.
I’m sorry to repeat myself for those who know, but for a little background information, I work in the motorcycle industry full time. That’s my “day job.” The recent economic setbacks have dramatically affected my job, my salary, and have forced our company to restructure some of our projects.
Normally, I’m busy and cannot be found online from December to late January as I complete my duties. This usually means 6 to 7 days a week, 12 to 14 hours a day. I usually return to the “online scene” in early February with new photos and a zest for life! However, this year we’re experiencing extreme conditions which have dragged my assignments out until April. This has never happened before in my life, but I also recognize these are extreme circumstances. I would much rather have a job I’m frustrated in than no job at all.
In the middle of this brutal schedule and the high-stress demands, I have received a letter from the “Risk Department” of my merchant bank (the company that handles KidRacer-X transactions) that they are closing my account. The reason is unspecified, and like any big company with power and control, they can do whatever they want without explanation.
I’ve never had any fraud charges or returns with KidRacer-X, so I’m at a loss for words. I can only assume that my content doesn’t meet their standards. So, as of TUESDAY, APRIL 21st, KidRacer-X will no longer be accepting online orders or subscriptions.
So — what does that mean for KidRacer-X? I have no idea. The website is NOT closing, but I suspect many aspects of the site as we used to know them is over. I will continue to do what I do for existing members, but beyond that, I don’t know what I intend to do.
I will have to figure something out. This incident is happening at the most critical point in my job, so I can’t even deal with a solution or what this may mean for KidRacer-X until late April.
I will be posting a very large audio update within a week to cover many aspects of KidRacer-X, it’s future, the economy, and my own personal future and desires. After you hear this audio update, I will need your thoughts and opinions because I will have many questions directly for you.
Thank you all for your years of support. I’m not gone. I don’t plan on going anywhere, but things won’t be the same. I’m just getting too tired of fighting the system and I’m doubtful I will pursue online subscriptions after April 21st.

Hell, I haven’t been on here in months. I check in and there is another crisis. Is this crisis Obama approved?

Hang in there Cody. How can I help?

Sorry to hear that bureaucracy has take over again. I look forward to hearing of the re-birth as soon as you can comfortably arrange it. ( Of course, if you prefer discomfort, that’s OK too. >;-) )

Not been on here for about six weeks. Sorry to see the dilemma you are going through, Cody. Absolutely with you that work must come first. Can’t stand the thought that the site might go down. Especially hate to think what a pain it would be to you. The bank might not like your content but I love it.
Good to see Jason back to life a bit. Hope things are coming together a bit better for you, Jason.

You have a lot on your plate, get your personal stuff sorted out first. Take a deep breath and tackle the other stuff later.
Put this site on hold if you have to, we will still be here and ride it out with you, we all understand your dilemma.
Take your time, were all 100% behind you buddy, you know that !!
Call me if you need to vent
Love ya, bro…

Thanks guys. I know I’ll find some sort of strange solution, but it will never be like it was, I’m sure. Like I said, I’m not going away and I refuse to shut it down. There’s probably an option out there, but I’ve been down that road before only to spend hundreds to establish an account and then be closed down a year later. I can only fight one battle at a time, so I’ll look at it again once I clear this work crunch.

I am so sorry to hear you are having to go through all this Cody. I am a big fan of your work and would be a disaster if we surrender to the system. After all we are a minority. We always going to have to fight.

Good luck in your decision. I still would like to make a donation to your site.

By the way, with that being said, are you now thinking a little harder on taking the KRX site into directions you’ve mentioned in the past?
Also, does this now open up possibilities with the other opportunities coming your way?
Good luck with whatever you decide!

I know we talked about this situation a few days ago, now seeing this blog being written explains your silence the last couple of days. Sorry bud. My questions can wait. I am glad you have gotten your fans up to date.
Just always thinking about you and hoping you are okay.
