Hey you guys! Here’s a very short update…
SUBSCRIPTIONS
KidRacer-X is back and taking subscriptions (hint hint)! When you read the subscription page, you’ll understand what’s going on. The short story is that I am manually activating your subscriptions. Monday through Friday, this happens very fast. On weekends, I may not be around to catch your purchase, so it will most likely be posted by Monday.
DONATIONS
I’ve lost a lot of money over the past month and many fans thought I was leaving forever and have left the website. I really need your support until the fans come back to keep KidRacer-X alive. VIDEO CLIP TECH SUPPORT
Although I’ve had no recent reports, I suspect some of you just didn’t bother to ask me. When I receive one email, I have to assume it represents many more of you. Some of my Video Clips on Windows computers can get “glitchy.” You may have audio, but no video, or video, but no audio. Sometimes you’ll even see a “green screen”. I did some research and learned an easy fix that addresses this problem. It’s posted in the help menu, but I’ll add it here as well:
Are you seeing a green screen? Maybe it’s “blocky” or perhaps you’re getting video but not audio. Maybe you’re getting audio, but no video? This little fix seems to address 95% of all video performance problems. It’s an easy fix.
- Open Quicktime Player
- Go to EDIT>PREFERENCES>QUICKTIME PREFERENCES
- Then go to the ADVANCED TAB
- Under the video section, UN-Check the box that says “Enable DirectDraw Acceleration”
