Fetish Wallpaper
By now, everyone should know, but for the uneducated, wallpaper is the term used to define the background image seen on your computer screen. Whether you're on a Mac or Windows computer, it can be changed to anything you want.

 

monitorsOne of the worst things (in my opinion) is to see some awesome photo you want as your wallpaper, but the image is too small or not sized properly to fit on your monitor. Because of the changing technology and everyone getting larger reoslution monitors and laptops, in 2009, I began creating multiple sizes of wallpapers to accommodate most monitor fitments out there.

 

As you go through the galleries, you'll see that in the more recent photo series, you have multiple options for picking the right size wallpaper for your computer desktop. This is so you can use the best image available that is sized and scaled proportionately to fit your screen. Some people may have a 4:3 ratio, while others may have a 16:9 ratio. That basically refers to whether you have a wide screen or standard screen In some cases, there are small wide screens and big wide screens. Nothing looks worse than an image that is stretched out of shape to fit your monitor.

 


1) What size is your screen?
To get the best fitting wallpaper, you should choose from one of several sizes (where applicable) that fits your monitor. So what fits your monitor? You first need to find your screen resolution by CLICKING HERE for the KidRacer-X Screen Resolution Detector!

 

2) Does your size fit into one of these groups?

Now you know your screen size. The next step is to find the right wallpaper size from KidRacer-X.

 

Simply refer to the dimensions grouped above. The sizes in these groups scale proprtionately. All the widescreen dimensions shown can share the same wallpaper size. Hopefully I have the size you need. And, over time as new content is released, your odds improve for finding better fitting content. As an example, "Hostage" is the first wallpaper series with images as big as 2560x1600 for Apple's 30" cinema display. It will also scale down and fit proportionatley on 1680x1050, 1280x800, etc.

 

So, if you have a monitor that's 1440x900, download the wallpaper that's available within that group size. It may actually be available as 1440x900 or 2560x1600. Regardless, it will fit and scale perfectly. Again, because the site is always evolving and dimensions are always changing, not every wallpaper on my site may work for you.

 

3) Installing a wallpaper image

Apple • Click on your System Preferences in your dock
• Click on DESKTOP AND SCREENSAVER.
• Select the DESKTOP tab.
• Drag your wallpaper into the large box or use the CHOOSE FOLDER option in the list below it (providing you have a designated folder for the wallpaper).
   
Windows • Open your CONTROL PANEL under SETTINGS (you know, that list thing that pops open bottom left corner).
• For Vista, click on CHANGE DESKTOP BACKGROUND. Click on the browse tab and locate the KidRacer-X wallpaper you want.
• For XP, click on the DISPLAY icon, then the DESKTOP tab in the window that opens. Click on the browse tab and locate the KidRacer-X wallpaper you want.
